After the repressions against the traditional media, “samizdat” (unofficial and thus uncensored production and distribution of printed periodicals) reappeared in Belarus.
Who would have thought that Belarusians would make self-published newspapers in 2021.
But almost all independent press is under pressure from the authorities, so people decided to take part in informing those who almost don’t use the Internet.
BELSAT correspondents talked to the publishers of modern samizdat anonymously (in order not to put them in danger) about how it works.
