Workers at the Belarusian industrial powerhouse – Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MWTP) – recorded a video address in support of all who demand fair elections. MWTP was the first business that Lukashenko visited in the aftermath of the elections. His hope was to find support among MWTP workers who get higher wages than employees of most other state businesses. But Lukashenko’s speech drew an angry response and chants of “Go away!” from the workers.
