Alexander Lukashenko, speaking at the women’s forum in the Minsk Arena on 17 September 2020, said that he was forced to close the border with Poland and Lithuania, as well as to strengthen the border with Ukraine. He also spoke about the threat of war from the West and called on the peoples of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine to “stop their crazy politicians” and “not let the war break out.”
